# Able.Style > Able.Style is a personal wardrobe and styling platform that helps people find outfits using clothes they own, discover fashion inspiration and decide what to wear. The website and apps combine wardrobe capture and organisation with personalised outfit suggestions based on clothing preferences, local weather and occasion formality. Users can add clothing from photos or descriptions, explore tagged outfit images and other ways to wear an item, save outfits, record what they wore in an outfit calendar and discover similar products from retailers. The calendar, inspiration feed and product discovery are broader platform features; the MCP capabilities available to agents are listed below. To connect an agent, add https://able.style/mcp as a remote server in an MCP client supporting Streamable HTTP and OAuth. Complete Able.Style sign-in and consent in the browser. Authentication uses the OAuth authorization-code flow with PKCE/S256; the client manages access tokens and sends them in the Authorization: Bearer header. Use the OAuth discovery documents linked below for authorization-server details and supported scopes. HTTP 401 responses provide a WWW-Authenticate challenge identifying the protected-resource metadata and required permissions. Let the client's OAuth flow handle authorization rather than requesting credentials in chat. After MCP initialization, call tools/list for current tool schemas, permissions and instructions. Discovery is public; the agent tools below require authorization for the user's account. Some tools create or change saved data. Use returned item and outfit identifiers exactly when making subsequent calls. Available agent tools: - `suggest-outfit-tool`: Get personalised outfit suggestions using wardrobe items, preferences, weather and formality. Present the returned outfit link so the user can open it in Able.Style. - `search_wardrobe`: Browse and search the signed-in user's wardrobe, including categories, colours and natural-language queries. - `style-wear-with-get-by-id`: Get compatible styles and owned userStyles for an exact styleId or userStyleId, with five-item pages and a styles carousel. - `style-ways-to-wear-by-id`: Get ways-to-wear inspirations and their tagged styles and owned userStyles for an exact styleId or userStyleId, with five-item pages and an inspirations carousel. - `add-to-or-remove-from-wardrobe-by-id`: Add or remove wardrobe ownership of a known clothing item using its returned identifier. - `add_wardrobe_item_from_description`: Add one owned item from the user's text description, including its colour. - `add_wardrobe_item_from_image`: Add one clothing item from its original photo, supplied through a supported file reference, public image URL or original image bytes. - `create_image_upload`: Create a secure upload picker when the client cannot transfer the original image, or the user requests an upload link. - `get_wardrobe_image_activity`: Check photo-processing status and retrieve the resulting item and its link. - `like-dislike-outfit-tool`: Record or remove an outfit like or dislike using the returned outfit identifier. - `update-user-settings-tool`: Change temperature and wind-speed units. The previous name `add-to-or-remove-from-closet-tool` remains available as a backward-compatible alias of `add-to-or-remove-from-wardrobe-by-id`, with the same inputs, outputs and permissions. Use the wardrobe-by-id name for new calls. For photo additions, send the original image or use create_image_upload with purpose wardrobe_image_add. Give the user its uploadPageUrl, then poll get_wardrobe_image_activity. Reuse the same requestId for retries and upload fallback. Do not replace the photo with an inferred text description unless the user explicitly requests a description-based item. Clients supporting MCP Apps can display interactive outfit and wardrobe interfaces. Text and structured results remain available to clients without those interfaces. ## MCP connection - [MCP connection and setup](https://able.style/mcp): A user-facing page for browser visits and the Streamable HTTP endpoint for MCP clients.
